The Chappell family has a four generation fascination with motorcars and motorsport. Stanley Chappell was a member of the pre-war MG trials team and his grandson, Rex, was the RAC trials champion for five consecutive years. Along with his own many trials victories, Lee Chappell (Rex’s son), developed a passion for Porsche, eventually owning thirteen of them. His current project is the building of a 1973 RS Recreation.

Kier Chappell, (Lee’s son) is the owner and director of Chappell Sports Cars. Kier has worked in the motor industry for nearly twenty years including time at BMW and Lexus and even completed a two year contract with Chevrolet in the USA.

More recently, Kier worked for 5 years as General Manager of one of the leading independent Porsche specialists. The key to his success was the long term commitment to customers and exceptional attention to detail.
